Pinup #1- Barbarian Cyclops

I've wanted to do a pinup series for a long time but couldn't find the inspiration. So I decided to remove it from the equation. I made a little script that randomly spits out two category/attribute words. So I get this mash up of odd things that I can go from. This is the first result; Barbarian Cyclops. 3 hours.

TTRB Halloween Event Poster

This was the first TTRB poster I did.

TTRB Flight School Poster

Another poster for a Tilted Thunder event.

TTRB February Bout Poster

I did this for the last Tilted Thunder exhibition bout.

Lincoln del los Muertos

The wife loves her some Abe Lincoln and I likes me some Day of the Dead action. I learned of an art show, CARDED!, from a buddy (Thanks Andrew). I submitted this piece and it was one of the fifty chosen for the show. The show is a really cool concept and I wish I could make it to it.

Grats to Andrew and Eli for having pieces selected too!

I'm a Dic

I recently decided to change my main character for SSF4. I've chosen to use Bison. Who's name is actually Vega. In the US it's Bison due to threat of law suits ( M. Bison is the boxer and it was too close to M. Tyson). To alleviate this confusion he is referred to as "Dictator" by the community and the abbreviation used is "Dic".

Utah, Get Me Two.

After working on those logos for so long, its nice to do my own work. I'm enjoying the black and white illustration stuff I had to do for the logos and it works great for a single color silkscreen as well.

A buddy and I use this saying from Point Break all the time. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYi0a8ZpNBk)He got me into screen printing and we decided to do shirts for the saying. I grew up in a pretty mormon area and I love Big Love on HBO and as bad asitis I watch Sister Wives too.

Tilted Thunder Railbirds Team Logos

I did 3 of the 4 logos for the wife's roller derby league. www.tiltedthunder.com

His and Hers Sugar Skulls

For some reason I end up drawing on pizza boxes in our kitchen. I did these with a sharpie and scanned them in to make t-shirts for the wife and I. 3/10 45 minutes

Porter Portrait for the Wife

I did this for the Wife's birthday in 2010. 3 hours.

Speed Paintings: Good, Bad, and the Ugly

I did these in 07. I limited myself to 1 hour each on these.

Kid's Puzzles

A co-worker makes wooden puzzles. These are the art I made for one for each kid. Must have done these in 07 or 08. Nothing special, just putting them here to remember. 1 hour.

Another Quinn Quinn

I did this one for another set of Christmas gifts. It's a lot more polished and took a lot more time. I refined my process doing this one. 10 hours.

1 Year Old Quinn

I did this in a couple hours in 04. She was one at the time. Its super rough and that's what I was into at the time.

My Nephew

I did this as a present for my wife's sister. Wow, I'm old. I did this in 2003. Don't remember the time.

Don't Need Eyes

This was a piece I did for a group gallery at work. We had a theme, "You Don't Need Eyes To See". It was one of the first digital speed pieces I'd done. My kid wanted me to make sure you all know it is her. 2 hours.

My Art (and I use the term loosely)

I've got a couple buddies (EliAndrew) that are keeping blogs/galleries of pieces they do and I figured I might as well. I don't consider it art. Its just the drawings and paintings I do.
